Today most of us live with a permanent feeling of something slipping out of our control. Anxiety, uncertainty, vulnerability, fragility of the present – we have already resigned ourselves to accept it as a fact. Such is the table. The fact is that its tabletop is not parallel to the floor. The usual "normality" of a quite practical object is barely noticeably moving away from its owner. It is not crucial yet, and the angle of deviation is almost imperceptible but already real.
